HOLLY

Written by: Bill Mason

Holly......
One more day arrives
(Holly eats her breakfast)
Past the school bus lines
(Holly couldn't care less)
Children pass the time
(Holly in her old dress)
Eating her alive
"Can't the people see what I see?"
"Why's everybody looking at me?"

Hair of fire is blowing in the wind
Eyes like daggers pierce into your soul
Something strange about this ruby girl
Holly won't you open your brown eyes
Open your brown eyes
Open your brown eyes...Holly...

Se her walk alone
(Holly's little planet)
Kicking one lone stone
(Holly understands it)
Bouncing to and fro
(Smiling like a bandit)
Wonder where she goes
"Can't they hear the sounds that I hear?"
"Why's everybody living in fear?"

Hair of fire is blowing in the wind
Eyes like daggers pierce into your soul
Something strange about this ruby girl
Holly won't you open your brown eyes
Open your brown eyes
Open your brown eyes

Humming soft songs to herself...
Se her walk alone...kicking one lone stone
Wonder where she goes
