JON MACEY & STEVE GILLIGAN - Two songwriters and
musicians who have a deep love and admiration for American folk
and country music. Both of them have also been professional
musicians for many years, and have been accomplished in the pop,
rock, and contemporary folk music worlds. The blending of these
elements has given their duo a unique spin on old time, rock & roll,
country, folk, and pop music, creating a sound that is at once
completely original and familiar at the same time. Most of their
material is from their excellent CD, “Everything Under the Sun”.

[Doctor X] of the LowBudget label, started over twenty five years
ago, which introduced “The Roslindale Sound” to the world. Through
many many albums and various live groups (including Random
Access Memory), they have blazed a trail for local musicians,
releasing a substantial body of work. Glenn released his first solo
album, “Breathing Freely” to rave reviews and also produces & hosts
a long-running Boston cable access TV arts program called “IT’S ALL
ABOUT ARTS”.

BIRD MANCINI - The husband and wife team of Ruby Bird and
Billy Carl Mancini. Both lead singers, lots of harmonies, guitar,
accordion, harmonica, with intriguing songs fusing rock and jazzy
blues with a pop edge. Their newest album, “Tuning In / Tuning Out”
is ultra-wonderful.
"...a cosmopolitan fusion...pop music in the most adventurous, inclusive sense of
the term." - The Boston Globe
"A dynamic duo with wailing vocals and a soul-filled, throw-down, hoe-down,
acoustic blue-ness with rocky roots and captivating harmonies."
- Oasis Coffee House, Waltham
T MAX - The publisher and founder of the local rock magazine
“The Noise”, currently celebrating its 30th anniversary! Mr. Max
also put together a massive anti-war media event involving 44 of
Boston's top vocalists and a star-studded 13-piece band that
recorded "End War Now". The song went on to occupy the top ten of
Neil Young's web chart for the summer of 2007. When the event
ended, he continued to compose anti-war material, enough to put
together a one-man folk-rock opera called “Why Do We Go To War?”.
He is currently performing this emotional epic at coffeehouses
throughout the Northeast.
